An Experiment in Humiliation by quirkyblonde An Experiment in Humiliation by quirkyblonde
okay so I found some really COOL shaders on the web, and experimented a bit with them and got the effect that I've always envied and never thought possible with DAZ: FUR!!!!!!!

You know those oh-so-adorable Christmas outfits offered by EvilInnocence? The ones with the tinsel trim? I tried about a million ways to duplicate that tinsel effect in D|S - I even e-mailed EvilInnocence himself and asked for his advice. He told me he didn't think it was possible. THEN I found the shaders and viola! Fur!!!!!

Anyways, a BIG, BIG, BIG thank you to ~WalkerofShadows for explaining how to use them and what they're for. This image is for you! :D Enjoy!:hug::hug:

Model: Aiko 3.0 LE [link]
Skin: Sola [link]
Hair: Moko Hair (it was a freebie, but I forget where I got it...if you want a link I'll try and find it for you, I think it came from the same people who created the Cangals outfits)
Hair Texture: Wild for Moko [link]
Outfit: Christmas 2007 by Evilinnocence [link]
Shaders: Fuzzy Wuzzy [link] and WalkerofShadows Satin Shaders [link]
Backdrop: My own creation (I wanted something soft and simple)

Aiko was so embarrassed about being dressed up in that skimpy outfit just for my experiment!

Rendered in DAZ|Studio [link], postwork done in Photoshop 5 [link]

very cute. I wonder if that could be used on animal fur as well.

I tried, but it makes it look like a stuffed animal. I'm trying to talk the creator of this shader into creating a fur shader that looks like realistic fur.

Oh, that's fuzzywuzzy? Cool... I wanted to use that one for my christmas-piece, but I had problems to download that. I used chenile instead, doesn't look that good.

yeah, I tried chenile in a couple of different pieces, just to see how it looked. It would be awesome on a stuffed animal, but not much beyond that, lol.

Finally got that fuzzywuzzy, too. I tried it at the Milcat together with your texture. Looks funny: [link]

exactly my thoughts *lol*

By the way, I'm sorry you have to wait even longer for your morphs. My brother was so kind to down load them but the files are too big to send via email. Now I am away from home for the next 3 or 4 weeks and the morphs are on my parent's computer out of my range. I'll look for a way to give them to you and then do so when I come home next time.

You know, you could send them via AOL Instant messenger. Depending on your network speed, it shouldn't take too long because I have a really fast network where I live.

I was impressed, too! What a great shader, I'm going to talk to the gal who made it and see if she can come up with something that will look like actual animal fur.

Actually, i didn't use any lighting in this image. I just used USMP. *shrug* It looked pretty good the way it was, so I left it.

you know...I had no troubles getting to that site until you said something to me about not being able to get to it. Now I can't even get to Kozaburo's site anymore...weird...

from what i have read online, it has days where there is no problem. other days it is like ISOP or BATLAB websites (pretty much anything from the .ne.jp webhost is unreachable, something about an undersea earthquake wrecking some internet trunk lines some time back) are unreachable for whatever reason.

oooooh. That would explain why I couldn't download some stuff from another site ont hat host. I got on the site fine, but couldn't download a thing. It's a shame, they had some great stuff there!

i believe it's been going on a year, it must be very difficult to repair undersea internet cabling. it is a shame, what with all the shader madness going on at my end, i was going to try them on the maid outfit.

I have the maid outfit - shall I e-mail you a zip file? (I know it's naughty, but I'm not claiming it as mine and it's a freebie anyways.)
